until you sent this note regarding your
reflections on your business anniversary.
I want you to know how much you are
appreciated - and that you have changed
my life!  I truly believe that your teaching
style, personality, and skill have put me on
the road to saving my life....going from no
exercise into your classes back in November
gave me the confidence that I can exercise
without feeling intimidated. A few months
ago, I would never imagine that I would
now hold a gym membership, much less
actually use it :) You gave me that
confidence and got me moving again. You
are the one that set a lifestyle change in
motion, and I'm sure I'm not the first one
you've motivated to do so. You are doing
great things, and if you've accomplished all
of this in four years, I can't wait to see
where you are in another four years!

"I started at The P Spot because I despise
exercise of any kind and this seemed like a
better approach to getting fit while having
fun. Michaela makes each class go by
quickly, however with the pain (good pain)
that I felt the day after my first class, I
would have never guessed It was only in
class for 45 minutes. Each class hits
different muscles in my body, including
muscles that I did not even know I had!
Right now I am trying to get toned for my
wedding on June 5th. Michaela's
encouragement as well as the support of the
other classmates has helped in this process.

"I had my first class (strip aerobics)and it was truly an inspiration for me, because when it comes to
exercise, hurting and realized there were muscles in my body that I didn't even know existed, (but it's
nothing that a little soak in the bath with Epsom salt won't heal.) I suffer chronic lower back problems,
and every morning I wake up with cramps in my back - prior to attending your class I thought about
not going because I didn't want my back to hurt although I had sore legs & knees, my back felt a little
better than normal. I couldn't complete the entire class without stopping to take a breather and
wondering if you were going to ever give us a water break. But that work out you gave me made me
realize that I need to get in shape, stay in shape and learn how to "bring it Up Sexy" Hopefully by the
time I reach my birthday in December (3 mos away)and continue your classes, I will be able to

"I took my first class 3/11 Strip Aerobics. I made it less
than halfway through the class in the shoes and had to take
them off...but I put them back on after the break.  I thought
I was in good shape from my Pilates classes but I was so
sore I could barely walk for the next 3-4 days! I have taken
4 classes since that first class and I am definitely hooked!
Each class in uniquely different (and difficult) but definitely
enjoyable and worth it. I am sure that with Michaela's help
and a lot of hard work, I will achieve my goal of losing 15
pounds before June 12th. Thank you for the fun and
inspiration!  I can't get the soundtracks out of my head and
I now find myself thinking of the moves whenever I hear a

"I loved your class...I've never had a workout like that.  It was intense but fun. And the
time flew by...I took another pole dancing class at this place Flirty Girl Fitness in Chicago.
It was $25 and not even half as good as yours. Seriously, it was barefoot-which is less
hard but also less fun,the class had 15 poles so we didn't get as much attention,
the music was not as good and the routine was whack.

"Since starting at The P Spot, I won the race my husband and I were having to lose
weight. (I had to lose 14 while he lost 20.) I have exceeded that goal, and when I get
to the 20 pound mark, I’m buying a pole! As a physical therapist, I appreciate the
dynamics of Michaela’s classes for working muscles through full ranges of motion,
using body weight as resistance, and challenging muscles to the point of fatigue.  I
am not sure any other workout gives as much “bang for the buck.”  Seven months
later, I no longer dread going down the stairs after a round of Pole and Strip Aerobics!

Okay, I was so NOT prepared for my 1st class of
floorwork this past Saturday, 8/21. And I do
kung-fu!! OMG! This sister-MICHAELA-is the
BOMB!! My glutes are STILL sore from Saturday's
class! I WILL be back, as I want to continue doing
this & I've been referring my friends like crazy!
